Overview

Based in the heart of Tottenham the Harris Academy is an All-through school striving to the highest standards of education in the Tottenham area. The new academy is based on the former site and will provide 12,000m² of new teaching accommodation.

Phase 1 of this development saw C W Fields & Son manufacture and supply 138 doorsets varying from Non-fire rated through to FD60 fire resistance.

The Solution

In line with the architect’s plans, the doors were finished in Medicote lacquered crown cut Ash veneer with frames primed for onsite painting.

The Fields Duracore Doorset was used for both FD30 and FD60 fire rating coupled with acoustic rating of 30dB where required. The Fields Timbercore was also taken advantage of within areas of high footfall because of its outstanding Severe Duty performance combined with FD60 fire resistance and 35dB acoustic rating.

Doors and frames were serviced for Eclipse SSS Radius hinges for ease of installation on site.
