Overview

Located in Central London, minutes from the Iconic BBC Broadcasting House on Regents Street.  A full refurbishment of an office space as well as two luxury mews flats to the rear of the project.

C W Fields & Son were commissioned to provide doorsets, bespoke wardrobes and vanity units as well as handrails for the Mews flats.  Our specialist products included FD30 and FD60 Fields Duracore doorsets with glazed side screens. We were also asked to produce a bespoke external door to match an existing garage door to the front of the property.

The Solution 

Working closely with the lead architects and advising on safety and design our team were sent to site to conduct a site survey for the Mews flats. Technical CAD drawings were then produced for the doorsets throughout the building, bespoke wardrobes and vanity units for the bedrooms and bathrooms respectively as well as a matching handrail for the communal stairwell.

The project architects were keen to used lacquered walnut for the doors, side screens and handrail whereas the wardrobes and vanity units would be white painted finish. 

The centrepiece of the project would be the front door to the property which was designed to match the garage door.  This presented its own challenge as the garage door had been supplied by others, hence our remit was to provide a matching finish to ensure design consistency. We relied heavily on our years of experience to overcome these challenges and achieve a seamless finish, which was celebrated by client and architect alike.
