Working within a historic building of this statue, the challenge was to re-affirm the extraordinary heritage, whilst also being mindful of current fire regulations.

Our full design and surveying service was provided to ensure the solid oak bespoke glazed cross corridor screens and doorsets were fit for purpose.

Scope of Works

The Fields Panel Doorset was used, which featured solid oak raised and fielded panels, all certified to FD30 Fire Resistance.

The semi-circular vaulted ceilings within the building required a highly bespoke solution. Consequently our site surveying team, painstakingly measured each opening to the level detail necessary to enable accurate production information to be produced.  

The semi-circular solid oak framework was then programmed and machined using our state-of-the-art CNC facilities, ensuring each doorset was housed perfectly within each bespoke location.

All screens were fitted with side and top lights (square or semi-circular dependent on location), and alongside the doors were glazed using bespoke copper light glazing panels.
